SundayBaby is born

I have officially started a small business.
I made these tie embroidered onesies for Brayden so he would have something to wear to church. I would get compliments on them every Sunday. Finally, Arielle suggested I try selling at the Farmington Festival Days. I have been working like crazy since February to get enough inventory to be ready for it. The fair was yesterday and we all spent the day hanging out in our booth. Arielle, Ryan, and my Dad were all nice enough to help us sell and take care of Brayden. It poured rain on and off all day but we still had a pretty good turn out and we did very well for my first time out. The lady at the next booth over even offered to sell my onesies in her boutique in Farmington! I'm not sure I'm ready for that yet but maybe some day. We learned a lot about what we should do next time and how to move forward from here. The main thing I'll do differently is make bigger sizes. Everyone wanted to know if I made toddler sizes. I think I could have sold twice as much if I had. It was a really fun day and a great experience. It felt really good to have all of my hard work validated as everyone who walked by pointed and commented on my booth.
My business is called SundayBaby. Roy will be working in the next few weeks to get a website going for me. In the meantime, I am taking orders through my email: sundaybabyclothes@gmail.com.

I also made these really cute girl's tuxedo top onesies. The long sleeved ones have a button and ruffle on the sleeves as well.

We had a lot of different colors and sizes to choose from.
We were selling these vest and tie onesies as well. I have only made the one for Brayden so he was our live model. I sold two of these by special order. Both of them are for baby blessings which I had never thought to use them for.

I made several sets of soft blocks as well. These actually sold just as well as the onesies. Two of them crinkle and one has bells, but they are quiet enough that the baby can play with them at church or other public areas.

This was our cute booth. It was a great size until it started pouring rain and we had to pull the tables in...then it shrunk a lot.

Thanks for the clothesline idea Chelsee! It was the key to our success!
Thank you also for the logo design. It looks great and everyone loved it!

(and yes, I cut my hair this week...I love it!!)
Isn't he the cutest little gentleman you've ever seen? He found the chairs we were hiding under the tables.

In other news........

Brayden is now pulling up on everything and sitting back down again. He moves along the couch and tables...I'm sure he'll be walking in no time.
We spent some time playing outside with the chickens tonight. Brayden was more fascinated with their food than them. It was cute watching him. He was pretty brave at one point and tried grabbing at one of the chicken's faces. She was pretty patient with him though and just turned her head. None of them pecked at him no matter how close he got. That was good.

We really have been blessed with an adorable little boy. He makes our life a great adventure. When he is around, we spend half the time giggling. I love him like crazy and I love him more every day.
